End of the Year !

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends! I know I did, this past week has been full of my beautiful daughters and one of my exchange daughters for the holidays! I received a scroll saw for Christmas so that I can begin making my own frames! I am super excited about this!
On another note, with the New Year happening this week and a New Year beginning, I have some awesome new offers and studio happenings to report! After the hussle and bustle of the season winds down, I will be announcing the portrait specials in store for this year, and its a busy one! They include our first annual "We're Bored" campaign, Valentine's Day card specials, Little Rascals sessions, Ballerina Sessions, and the upcoming Winter White Sale! So keep checking back!
Also, I'm heading to Nashville for a few days in January, for some education, a session with a new friend, and meeting some of my Facebook friends for the first time face to face. I'm really excited about what I'm bringing back from this conference!
Check out the fanclub on Facebook for daily updates for the studio too!

One of my facebook friends, Skye Hardwick, has decided to give up traveling the global to do her world famous workshops. Although this saddens us, she has put an enormous amount of information into a book! I am excited because Skye does children's photography and although I have been in the business for many years, I bow to great work! Here is some of the topics included in this e-book for photographers!

The workbook is a .PDF file:

80 pages covering topics such as:

* Skye’s step by step photoshop editing process
* Pricing and business information
* Posing that works
* How Skye connects with kids
* The thinking that changed her business
* What to Wear & Styling Sessions
* Websites & Blogs
* Portrait collection success
* Personal workflow
* Sessions start to finish
* What to look for in a shooting location
* The pricing tip that changed her business
* Why Skye proofs sessions in under an hour
* Personal favorite lenses
* Skye’s favorite vendors
* Where Skye gets her inspiration and more!

If I have peaked your interest, check out the website http://www.theworkshopworkbook.com
or visit her blog at http://www.workofheartphoto.com / http://www.workofheartphoto.com/blog
