New Chairs!

I am exceptionally happy to show off the 'new chairs' for the studio!  I took some old, wooden chairs, had some paint laying around and a boring day and went to town!  I am so excited to begin working with these chairs, they have so much potential in the studio.  New backdrop from Orange Peel Backdrops are on their way, and will totally compliment the new chairs!   Being in Creative Photography for children is my passion!

I have owned and used the Lumiquest 80/20 for years and always struggled with taking vertical images while using the 80/20. This new version really is versatile, vertical or horizontal. Attaches easily, and folds flat. Velcor on 'window' works well, and easy manipulate open or closed with one hand. Great product for external flash!

Fun February!

This month is reserved for planning, marketing and just re-energizing (like I need that!) for the studio and myself.  I have been doing some of the work that I, as a photographer, have wanted to do.  I was very excited to be able to put my ideas into reality, I have a ton more coming but here is a sneak peak!

End of the Year !

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends! I know I did, this past week has been full of my beautiful daughters and one of my exchange daughters for the holidays! I received a scroll saw for Christmas so that I can begin making my own frames! I am super excited about this!
On another note, with the New Year happening this week and a New Year beginning, I have some awesome new offers and studio happenings to report! After the hussle and bustle of the season winds down, I will be announcing the portrait specials in store for this year, and its a busy one! New Year, New Ideas

I am offering a sweet deal in January, I have a limited number of sessions dedicated to 'Pin ups'. This vintage style of posing will melt any man's heart. The session is discreet, tasteful, and there are a variety of 'gifts' for you to make for your man! Latest Family pics of girls!

Recently my oldest came home from college and our household was graced with one of my former exchange students from Japan, Meg. We try and do yearly portraits of the girls, so everyone can see them grow. Here are the results of the last day of Sami's stay!

This picture was their idea, in that they are fasinated with the movie Twilight. Although we didn't have the hot vampires to be in the pic with them, we did our best!

I was so excited to find out I had been nominated for Best Photographer in my area! I am up against some other area photographers too! So the competition is fierce! I am hoping that I can get the votes I need to win! Wouldn't that be awesome???? To have my work looked at as the best in the area, I just can't put into words how I can thank whoever nominated me! Since they don't allow anyone to vote on the computer, its all by ballet, say a quick prayer for me ! C

New Puppies!

Recently (August 13, 2008) my dog, Andie, gave birth to 5 healthy Weimaraner pups! My first thought was 'what a great picture opportunity' ! I had to wait until their beautiful blue eyes opened and they were able to stand up! But that day is here, and I am thrilled to finally be able to share the pics with you. Andie has been an awesome Mother, and although we only have two pups sold, we are looking forward (I may regret THAT statement) to having the next few weeks with them! Enjoy the pics and if you know anyone that might want a Weim, let me know!
